I spent time at Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres 
back in November, and I was genuinely blown away by the interior design. From the geometric tilework and retro-modern touches to the soft, calming palettes and incredible lighting, every space felt luxurious, intentional, and effortlessly comfortable. The restaurant Milo quickly became one of my favourites — warm, sculptural, and serene.

The restaurant Milo quickly became one of my favourites — warm, sculptural, and serene.As someone who naturally notices design, I found myself constantly stopping to admire the textures, patterns, and the way each room flowed into the next. (And researching the designer: Estudio Decágono). Plus all of the plants, thoughtful outdoor spaces and water features made for a beautiful place to holiday.
My first time at this resort, and I’m already dreaming of returning.
